Motivational Story - Denzel Washington (Speech to Change Your Life)


Greetings! With this piece, I want to share with you a MUST WATCH speech given by Hollywood actor Denzel Washington to a group of college students at the University of Pennsylvania. It is just over ten minutes in length. The theme is “Change Your Life – Chase Your Dreams!”

With this speech, you will hear Denzel talk about what are you going to do with what you have? What ever your gift is, what are you going to do with it? He speaks about not being afraid to Fail. To take chances. To go outside the Box. He talks about Dreams and says Dreams without Goals are just Dreams that'll often fuel disappointment.

Denzel brings up the subject of Goals. To have one every day but to achieve those goals, you must apply discipline and consistency - every day. He talks about Movement versus Progress. That just because a person might be doing a lot more doesn’t mean they’re getting a lot more done?  
 
There's so many topics he touches up on. He closes out encouraging you to not just Aspire to Make a Living but to Aspire to Make a Difference! To Fall Forward!

Motivational Story - Never Give Up on Your Dream

I was watching some reruns of the old “X Games” on cable television and admiring the daredevil skills of the guys and gals involved in Snowboarding. When I did some research, I came across a story on one of the past athletes I wanted to share that was about the ultimate in desire and perseverance to pursue a childhood dream. This tells the story about Justin Reiter , then age 33, who was chosen for the Alpine Snowboard team that would compete in the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.
